— Kina Grannis Live, 13th March

Hello ♥ I had a really eventful Tuesday that took too huge an amount of energy out of me, I'm still trying to recover and recuperate! Haha.
(Have been feeling a little sick since the start of the week but I had to brush it off knowing I have so many plans this week and couldn't let being sick destroy everything. It's not a high fever, flu or anything, but the office has been so terribly cold even with a sweater on and I've been shivering in my seat almost everyday. That, late nights, and the fact that I'm not used to working long hours, is taking a toll on my body. I've been so exhausted. --oh, but nevermind me,)

Tuesday! I had excitement building up inside me since Monday morning and on Tuesday morning, I rushed and threw everything I needed in the car to get ready and was all set for the day. Left the office at 4pm, and had to turn my car into a dressing room/table to save time. Haha, don't ask. Zoomed over to the Bentley showroom and arrived at around 5pm. Met up with Jiatern who went really, really early (3pm) to line up for our pre-purchased tickets &because the first 50 would get Meet&Greet passes. Soooo nice, and why he's first picture worthy!

Ate dinner and had to walk in the rain for a bit, and had to wait outside the doors of the showroom for about an hour where we meet so many people who were friendly enough to have small talks with. Fought for more than an hour to stay awake because we both had such long afternoons. It finally started at around 8.45pm, with Narmi as her opening act. If it's not to much to ask and if you're curious, Facebook search N-A-R-M-I, like the page you've found &download his music. So so so good for your ears! You will not regret, trust me :)

She finally came on 15minutes later and blew us all away.

We had exclusive Meet &Greet passes and came up with the most amazing plan to go last, so that we'd have more time with her but we weren't the only ones with amazing plans. Got to say Hello nonetheless, and also got a hug and our tickets signed. We were only allowed to choose ONE item for her to put her signature on, but I whispered "Psst Kina, I really need a favour" ☺And explained that I knew a couple'of die hard Kinerds (Kina fans, like monsters is to Lady Gaga) who passed me their things for her to sign. She said a very happy "let's do it!" and signed all our things.

Oh, the love,
x

—the big meow

/Hello from work! As you know, I tried switching to Wordpress but didn't really like how it worked. It really didn't feel comfortable or right. So I'm back here & terribly sorry for the trouble loveleys.

A whole lot had happened since I last wrote. For one, I've been working at an Advertising co. in Bangsar for more than a week now. It's a 9-5 job, but I work overtime on most days. It takes a lot of commitment from me to wake up every morning, even before the sun rises, to get out of my warm, warm bet, ready and head of to work before 7.30am. It's is all for the love of a good &full working experience. And being here, I think, has changed the way I look at life, work and how I see myself and other people. Being here at work opened my eyes to so, so, so many things that I've been starting to think that for the past 19years of my live, I had been living in a cave. More than just learning that you have to work hard for the big things you want in life, but I've also learned that you should never give up and to always have the attitude of picking yourself up from any knock downs or failures in life, that "we all make mistakes" and it takes great humility, but the best characteristic a person can have is to be teachable.

In a nutshell, I've been learning to swallow humble pie &spit out pride, to let go, not be in control all the time and to live life, to love all and trust a few, but most importantly, I've been starting over with God, learning to love, and love Him, again.
